Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am Pastor S. David, formerly called by the name Veera Swamy before I received the gift of salvation. My father, Late Mr. S. Veeravenkata Rao was an ardent idol worshipper. He had built a vinayaka temple on my name in my village. He hated Christ, Christianity, and Christians. During that time, he was infected with gangrene on his back, and the doctors had declared that he would die soon. He was simultaneously affected with Diabetes and BP. At that point of time, a Pastor, Mr. Yesudas visited the hospital and prayed for my father. And, God healed Him. From that time on, my Father had accepted Jesus Christ as His Saviour, was baptized and changed his name to Abraham.

          Yet, I continued to live in my own worldly ways, enjoying all the sinful pleasures in the world. Eventually I was married. My wife, though from a Hindu family, she knows about Jesus. A little while after my marriage, with the ardent prayers of my family and pastors, The Lord saved me. In the year 1994, on February 25th, my wife and I were baptized.

          After my father’s death, I had taken up our family’s responsibility. We are seven brothers and two sisters in our family.  God began to bless our family both spiritually, and financially. As the years went by, my heavenly Father filled me with His love, and called me for His ministry through visions and through His scripture Isaiah 42:7. But my business was flourishing at its peak. God blessed me abundantly. I had started with very little money and God lifted me to a position where I could bid for huge contracts. Hence, I wasn't quite interested in going for the ministry initially. Rather, I was interested in earning much more, to help build churches and help the destitute. But God plans were different from mine. As I was disobedient to His calling, all my bills for completed projects were stuck gradually. And all of sudden, I was financially broken and I had to go through a severe financial crisis. Then I confessed my mistake to God in His presence and committed myself for full time ministry. Miraculously, all the pending bills were released.

          Then I cried out to God to reveal to me, the name of the place where He wanted me to carry out His ministry. I pleaded Him to send me to a region where His name was not known before. Subsequently, He showed me a place called “Shadnagar” in a vision. I had never heard of that name earlier. Later, when I had enquired regarding it, I was informed that it was the name of a town in Telangana, in the Rangareddy District. Thereupon, in July 1999, Our ministry in Shadnagar began, along with my wife S.V.Rathnamma (Debora), daughter Vinaya, and son Naveen Paul.

          It was one of the neediest area for gospel, where there were many unreached villages and tribal locations all around. Several times we were threatened to leave that place, and were warned by radical Hindu groups and anti-Christian activists. Twice we were beaten severely, mocked many times, and were taken to police station. But in all these, God has been faithful to us, he has been with us, strengthening us to carryout this ministry that He has given to us. God has been faithful to us in providing us for every need of our ministry, which was started without any external financial support. Entirely based on divine calling, godly vision, and unwavering faith. Now our ministry has grown to 23 churches, with seven full time pastors, and eight gospel workers. To the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. Amen.

          I had always desired for my whole family to live for God. Hence, I wanted my daughter to become a doctor and spread God’s love through medical ministry. God has fulfilled my desire. Presently, she is a missionary doctor. On 7th of November 2016, she was married to a godly man, who himself, is a missionary doctor too. At the moment they are serving as missionary doctors in CMC Hospital located in Vellore, Tamilnadu.

          We have dedicated our son for God’s ministry. He has pursued Bachelors in Civil Engineering, and Masters in Divinity. Currently, he is ministering along with us. Please do pray for our family and for the ministry that God has entrusted us with. God Bless.
